Constitution Reform:

The largest hurdle regarding the Alaska State Constitution is the method where we create our judiciary through a judicial counsel.

This structure allows a select few to "design" our judiciary and based on a historic narrative, this design has created a judiciary which is progressive in nature.

This sets up an alliance with our court systems and the progressive, liberal part of our legislative body.

Based on this structure, Alaska does not have 3 separate branches of government .

Additionally, portions of the current State Constitution are ignored. The ability of the citizens to form a Grand Jury is compromised and the requirement that agents of government must be bonded is ignored.

Our state constitution must have procedures to hold accountable government agents who ignore our constitution.
